Dr. Vishal Bhasme is working as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Ruby Hall Clinic, Sassoon Road, Pune, Maharashtra, India. He completed his MCh (Neurosurgery) in August 2013. Nationally and internationally trained brain and spine surgeon, he has experience of working in different fields of Neurosurgery like Neuro/ Spinal trauma, neuro-oncology, Neurovascular, Pediatric neurosurgery, Skull Base, Endoscopic and Minimally invasive Spine Surgery of more than 8 years.
He was trained at one of the most pioneer and premier neurosurgery institute of India, Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur, which is a very high volume centre with exceptional technical expertise. His thirst for achieving more technical expertise didn’t stop here. Later he worked with great neurosurgeons like Dr Deepu Banerji to achieve more experience in Endoscopic Skull Base and Dr Alok Sharma, who is well known for his work in StemCell Therapy at Fortis Hospital, Mulund, Mumbai. Later, underwent advanced training with world-renowned neurosurgeon Dr Basant Misra, the authority of cerebrovascular and skull base at P D Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. There his experience reached new levels as he worked with Dr Milind Sankhe, a Functional and epilepsy surgeon and Dr Ketan Desai who is a master of operating on peripheral nerves.
